Corporate Governance and Control: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. A Critical Survey

This is a critical survey dealing with the methodology of corporate governance literature, in general. Historically, researchers failed to address the problems of corporate governance properly due to the biased approaches to the issues around corporate governance when the national economy is in boom. As a result they have produced confusing definitions, and contradicting rules and suggestions. This study suggests that a standardization effort will help to clear up this situation and help future researchers by providing them with universally accepted references.
